Skills:

• Experience with court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
• Excellent listening skills
• Comprehension of spelling, grammar, and literacy skills
• Ability to Collaborate Remotely
• Typing Proficiency in both Speed and Accuracy
• Ability to Process Extreme Audio/Text Content (content may be offensive)
• Ability to Pass a Background Check
• Familiarity with Legal terminology
• Court reporting students will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Cover depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
• Transcribe audio recordings
• Adhere to style guides and deadlines
• Strictly fulfill duties while processing audio recordings

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of recent experience transcribing legal content
• Excellent listening, grammar, and comprehension skills
• Knowledge of legal terminology
• Proper equipment setup and ability to work in Windows 10
• Ability to Collaborate Remotely
• Ability to type with accuracy and speed
• Ability to pass a background check
• No residence in Massachusetts or California

Responsibilities:

• Cover depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
• Transcribe audio recordings while following client-specific style guides
• Produce verbatim transcripts
