Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
? * Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.
? * Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients by addressing their inquiries, processing prescription orders, and offering medication counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist.
? * Order Processing: Review and process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions.
? * Inventory Management: Monitor and manage medication inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage of medications.
? * Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including maintaining accurate records and handling controlled substances in accordance with legal requirements.
? * Technical Support: Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to pharmacy software and equipment.
? * Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs.
? Required Skills and Qualifications
? * Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent state certification.
? * Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.
? * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
? * Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
? * Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information with discretion.
? Experience
? * Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.
? * Experience with Remote Work: Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not required.
