Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Copyeditor / Proofreader (Pharmaceutical / Medical) to join their dynamic team. This is a 4-6 month contract opportunity that is fully remote (PST time zone).

Copyeditor / Proofreader (Pharmaceutical / Medical)Responsibilities: ? Edit and proofread copy for assigned brands and other projects. ? Fact-check copy using reliable sources, ensuring accuracy and credibility. ? Collaborate effectively with the Editorial Director and team to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines. ? Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to deliver high-quality work. ? Develop a deep understanding of assigned brands and product categories. ? Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and minimize errors. ? Mentor junior team members and freelancers to uphold editorial standards. ? Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. ? Create and maintain brand style guides and bibliographies. ? Adhere to AMA style and other editorial styles as required by brand needs.

Copyeditor / Proofreader (Pharmaceutical / Medical)Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in a relevant field ? 3-5 years of medical editing and fact-checking experience in a pharma ad agency or medical education setting ? Self-motivated and able to work independently ? Adaptable to changing deadlines and able to provide creative solutions ? Knowledge of AMA style and FDA guidelines for pharmaceutical products and devices ? Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word), Adobe Acrobat, and/or ProofHQ
