Structured Literacy Trainer & Coach - Remote | WFH
We're looking for a passionate Structured Literacy Coach to join our Coaching Team, supporting our partner districts in the Bay Area. You'll provide coaching and training tailored to enhance teachers' understanding of Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading, empowering them to excel in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging virtual coaching sessions following our Coaching Model, fostering a supportive environment for teachers.
Establish rapport with district leaders and coaches to tailor support according to their needs.
Guide data discussions to enhance coaching effectiveness and track student progress.
Prepare comprehensive progress reports and collaborate on system improvements.
Ensure seamless integration of coaching skills through follow-up sessions and resources.
Training & Facilitating
Deliver insightful training sessions on Science of Reading principles to educators and school staff.
Facilitate professional development sessions for district coaches to enhance literacy coaching practices.
Participate in teacher training and consulting sessions to ensure alignment with client goals.
Reporting & Communication
Provide regular updates on client progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Attend weekly team meetings to stay aligned with organizational objectives.
Technical And Business Expertise
Utilize various tools including Zoom, Calendly, and Google Suite for scheduling and conducting sessions.
Collaborate with the team to address client barriers effectively.
Qualifications & Experience

A Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) with a focus on literacy.
Proven experience delivering professional development to educators.
Familiarity, Orton-Gillingham, and other Science of Reading-based methodologies.
Expertise in Structured Literacy practices and data-driven decision making.
Previous experience in education, coaching, or leadership roles, demonstrating literacy goal achievement.
Strong multitasking abilities and technological proficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location, Schedule & Compensation:
This position is based in California with weekly travel within the Bay Area. The salary range for full-time employment is $68,000 - $88,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include 80% company-paid medical care, unlimited PTO, 10 company holidays per year, and two weeks of all-company closure annually. Additionally, our team enjoys Fridays off between July 1 and August 31. The start date for this position is July 15th.
