US Remote Vice President of Biospecimen Sales

Key Responsibilities
? Spearhead the regional planning process, establishing mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and essential milestones.
? Proactively forecast and analyze both customer and product performance to meet strategic goals and refine business strategy.
? Cultivate new relationships while enhancing existing partnerships, leading impactful group presentations and scientific exhibitions to elevate our market presence.
? Oversee and report on high-value sales opportunities, ensuring they progress to successful closure.
? Collaborate closely with the strategic accounts team on large meetings to capture substantial projects with significant revenue potential.
? Become a recognized subject matter expert in our core competencies, effectively engaging with stakeholders regarding various projects.
? Guide the sales team in managing the opportunity pipeline and feasibility case queue, ensuring all steps and customer feedback are documented.
? Support the formation of long-term contracts with each account, contributing to sustained business success.
? Share market trends and insights with the team based on sales interactions and client feedback.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inside sales support, business development directors, marketing, and operations, to optimize sales performance.
Required Skills
? Proven ability to manage a team of sales professionals, driving them to achieve regional sales goals.
? Strong mentoring and development skills to enhance team performance and competencies.
? Exceptional relationship-building expertise, enabling the creation of strategic solutions for diverse customer needs.
? Highly organized, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SalesForce.com is advantageous.
? Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of effectively representing the company to strategic clients, executives, and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
? A Bachelor?s degree is required, preferably in life sciences, with an MS, MBA, or PhD viewed favorably.
? At least 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, biopharma, or scientific tools.
? Formal sales training is preferred, along with the flexibility to meet varying customer needs and schedules.
