Our Product: We create exam prep solutions designed to help students pass certification exams, such as the VTNE exam for veterinary technicians. Our products are digital and feature study guides, quizzes, and mock exams. In some cases, they are supplemented by physical books. Although our products are straightforward, they have been highly effective at helping students succeed.
Role Description: As the school account executive, you will focus on building relationships with faculties, program coordinators, and directors in schools across the veterinary technician and practical nurse fields. Your role will be crucial in creating awareness about our products and encouraging schools to 'recommend' them to their students. This is not a high-pressure sales role; instead, you will focus on education and relationship-building. The goal is ensure schools have awareness of our products and services, and they are comfortable recommending CleverOrca exam prep solutions. However, this includes some sales component (ex. following up on leads, sales process, CRM, etc.)
Also, constantly assess the accounts, to allow the schools registered with us have a great experience and continue the relationships.
The goal is for schools to be aware of our products, recommend them to students, and to close schools (and renew and support).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
? Reach out to all schools, faculties, and program coordinators who would benefit from our exam prep solutions.
? Send personalized emails, conduct research, and develop targeted outreach strategies to engage schools and decision-makers.
? Consistently develop and refine your outreach process to ensure we are being proactive in sharing our offerings with the right contacts.
2. Relationship Building
? Act as the face of CleverOrca for school contacts, ensuring positive, professional, and value-driven communication.
? Develop meaningful relationships with faculty members, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and how our products can help them.
? Ensure we understand the faculties need, when it is about help their students pass the exams. Ask about the fail rate, what they would do for their students, where the struggles are, etc.
? Communicate findings back to the team. This can help with product and content development.
3. Product Demos & Presentations via Zoom
? Provide engaging product demos to faculty and school administrators, showcasing how our exam prep solutions can benefit their students.
? Highlight key features such as study guides, quizzes, and mock exams, ensuring they understand the value of the product for student success.
? Make recommendations based on the school?s needs, and offer free demo accounts or books to review, where applicable.
4. Follow-Up & Relationship Maintenance
? After initial outreach, maintain consistent communication with schools, checking in regularly to offer support, address any issues, and ensure they feel confident recommending our products to students.
? Keep track of follow-up schedules and ensure no relationship falls through the cracks. School sales take time and require patience and dedication.
5. Sales Process Development
? You will be responsible for developing the sales process from scratch across multiple brands. This will include deciding how to approach schools, building lead pipelines, and structuring engagement strategies.
? Proactively refine and optimize the outreach and follow-up process to ensure we?re reaching more schools and making the most out of every relationship.
6. Invoicing & School Onboarding
? Ensure a smooth onboarding process for schools that recommend our products to their students, ensuring clear communication and easy access to our solutions.
? Manage invoicing, payments, and contracts, working closely with our virtual assistant who helps operationally.
7. Collaboration with Marketing & Product Development
? Work alongside the marketing team to create effective outreach materials such as pamphlets, demo accounts, and books to engage schools.
? Act as the ?eyes and ears? for product development?sharing feedback from school interactions that could inform future product improvements or marketing strategies.
8. Ongoing Engagement & Support
? Don?t just stop at the sale?ensure schools and their students are supported throughout their use of our exam prep solutions, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
? Continue to educate and engage faculty on how best to use our products and the benefits they bring to students.
9. Learning about the brands and exams
? Those continuous change. Each year, there are guidelines updates etc. Our education manager is on maternity leave, and while we are trying to find a replacement, you will need to learn about the exams, even if that means a Google search.
NOTE: We have never had anyone in this position. Therefore, you are responsible for creating a sales process, tracking process, etc. We have virtual assistants who can help with various tasks, such as sending bulk emails etc. Our director of operators will also assist in the technical side, train you on the learning systems.
However, you will be a team of 1 to spearhead the school's outreach.
Qualifications: ? Must have experience in sales, particularly in building long-term relationships. ? Self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of creating a structured sales process. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. ? Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM software (Pipedrive preferred). ? A passion for education and helping students succeed. ? Ability to listen and understand the needs of school faculties, working in a consultative, non-pushy manner. ? Previous experience working with CRMs, and sales process. ? Experience in the healthcare and education sectors is a plus. ? Others: organizational skills, knowledge of PowerPoint, LMS, etc.
Pay Structure:
? Base rate.
? Commission for direct school sales
Work Arrangement:
? Remote position with part-time hours (approximately 20 hours per week).
? Flexibility in scheduling with follow-up engagement needed over time.
