The Opportunity

The Embry-Riddle Worldwide College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented VECTOR-VCL Administrative Coordinator (remote) to support the operations of the Virtual Communication Lab (VCL). As an essential member of our team, the Administrative Coordinator will manage tutor contract records, track and maintain usage statistics, update Vector Canvas and other online resources, coordinate schedules, and assist with budgeting processes. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of VCL services, which serve students across the Worldwide Campus in the general education program and beyond.

This is a remote, part-time (Monday through Friday) position with varying weekly hours depending on workload, not to exceed 16 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities: ? Tutor contract management (Work closely with Student Employment and Academic Affairs to maintain an accurate record of adjunct faculty and student tutor contracts through the year). ? Maintain VCL usage statistics (Provide Vector-VCL Directors with TracCloud reports as needed, to track important metrics such as appointment details, tutor notes, and scheduling patterns). ? Maintain Vector Canvas and homepage sites (Update pages as needed with relevant info, such as tutor workshop schedule, supplementary videos, and other important announcements). ? Operations management to ensure persistently efficient operations of VECTOR-VCL serving the whole Worldwide Campus Student community, including over summer when VECTOR faculty leadership are off contract. ? Budgeting (Approve student employee time cards and maintain accurate record of shift hours for VCL tutors).

Qualifications

Required Education:
? Bachelor's degree

Required Qualifications: ? Experience in administrative support or coordination, particularly in an academic setting. ? Proficiency in data management tools and reporting software (e.g., TracCloud, Excel). ? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with various stakeholders. ? Analytical skills and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Excel, Word, Outlook/email. ? Strong attention to detail, professional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: ? Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced environment preferred ? Previous experience with Workday and scheduling software, such as TracCloud.
