What You Will Do:

Ensuring that all products are well-stocked and easily accessible to customers, regularly checking inventory levels and ordering new items as needed:
? Providing a hospitable and proficient customer service experience for those seeking home improvement guidance at Lowe's.
? In order to ensure that customers receive their merchandise as expected and in a timely manner, it is imperative to accurately process orders and deliveries and to validate the loading of tickets.
? Safe work practices should be regularly reviewed and enforced to minimize the risk of injury or harm.

Responsibilities:

The Retail Associate - Building Supplies is tasked with ensuring that customers are satisfied with their in-store experience. Therefore, they must be alert to safety and security concerns, promptly reporting any issues they observe around the store's entrance.

The Retail Associate - Building Supplies duties depend on the unit they are assigned to. These units include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. A Customer Service Associate candidate could be assigned to any of these areas based on their hiring needs and skill set.

Travel Requirements:

The role at hand does not typically entail regular travel, but there may be occasional travel requirements such as attending meetings, trainings, or providing support to nearby stores.

? Working by the Hour: Two possible time slots are available, Full Time with a scheduled 39 to 40 hours per week, or Part Time with up to 25 hours per week; however, depending upon the store's needs, additional hours may be requested.
? We require our employees to be available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, seven days a week.
? Capacity to complete job duties that require extended periods of standing, sitting, and other physical movements.
? To be recruited for the Greeter department in eligible stores, CSAs should have the least capability to lift 10 pounds on their own and may be asked to lift anything above 10 pounds with or without assistance.
? The minimum prerequisite for CSAs in all departments except for the Greeter departments is the capability to lift 25 pounds independently. Any further lifting may be accomplished with or without help.

Minimum Qualifications: ? Six months of experience working with computers, where one has gained the ability to input, access, revise, or display digital information. ? Acquired a thorough understanding of the use of smartphones and tablets in retail operations while working for six months in the industry. ? The successful applicant must be capable of securing any necessary sales-based licensure or registration necessary under legal provisions.

Preferred Qualifications: ? As a salesperson, I have had the opportunity to interact with various customers and am well-versed in the art of selling. My 6 months of experience has enabled me to sell products, including credit cards, installations, add-ons, while highlighting specific features and benefits that make them a better purchase for the customer. ? Over the course of six months of serving in retail, I have gained valuable experience in meeting the demands of customers by managing their queries, helping them locate products, greeting them courteously, handling phone inquiries, cultivating relationships, and showing appreciation for their continuous patronage. ? The store recognizes the value of bilingual proficiency among employees that can be beneficial to the business. ? The certification offered in various trades including hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials is a testament to an individual's expertise in these fields.
