Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Iowa or Illinois

As the Pharmacy Technician - Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm CST

Primary Responsibilities: ? Prescription requests ? Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements ? Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content ? Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt ? Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls ? Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system ? May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details ? Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities ? Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function ? Acts as a technical resource to others in own function ? Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests ? Solves moderately complex problems on own ? Works with team to solve complex problems ? Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives ? Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction ? Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned ? Extensive work experience within own function ? Work is frequently completed without established procedures ? Works independently ? May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications: ? Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician license via EXCPT or PTCB without restrictions OR ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment ? 1+ years of pharmacy experience ? 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications: ? Previous pharmacy technician or patient experience ? Call-center or telephonic work ? All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
