Sr. UI/UX Developer (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
? Perform full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
? Work with FAA and stakeholders on design and development of safety tools...
? Develop, test, and implement web applications with a focus on the frontend, ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
? Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML, and CSS, along with experience in building REST APIs.
? Solid Experience in Angular and/or React front-end technologies in implementing Single Page Applications.
? Experience working with Web accessibility.
? Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of websites using Bootstrap.
? Experience building complex interactives, backend, and 3rd party integration.
? Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
? Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth functionality.
? Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues.
? Participate in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
? Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in UI development.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team.
? Effective communication and time management skills.

Good To Have
? Knowledge/Familiarity with User Design tools like Figma.
? Familiarity with AWS
? Single-sign-on and multi-factor authentication experience.
? Comfortable using Git/Bit Bucket for version control for efficient code management and collaboration.

Qualifications
? Bachelor of Science degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT Management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
? Required - at minimum 8 years of software development experience including with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL or similar backend database.
? This is a W2 opportunity only. 1099s will NOT be allowed.
? No Sponsorship will be provided for this role.
? Candidates who are Non-Immigrant Aliens (not a U.S. Citizen) or an Immigrant Alien (U.S. Permanent Resident-Green Card Holder) must have resided in the U.S. for a minimum of three (3) years in the last five (5) years.
