Job Application: Amazon Fulfillment Associate - Fayetteville, NC Join the Amazon team in Fayetteville, NC, and play a key role in delivering customer satisfaction! As a Fulfillment Associate, you?ll be part of a fast-paced, physical team that ensures customer orders are ready for shipment, including Amazon's super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service. Key Responsibilities: ? Inventory Management: Receive and put away inventory to keep the warehouse organized. ? Order Preparation: Select, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. ? Loading and Shipping: Load boxes onto trucks for shipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. ? Scanning & Troubleshooting: Use scanners to read barcodes and follow prompts on screens to complete tasks. ? Safety & Quality: Ensure product quality requirements are met and work safely by following all safety standards. Equipment & Physical Requirements: ? Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT): Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet drivers, and other machinery, with training and certification provided at no cost. ? Physical Activity: Lift up to 49 pounds, push carts up to 60 pounds, and stand, walk, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. ? Work at Heights: Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, as required. Work Environment: ? Temperature & Noise: Warehouse temperatures range from 60? to 90?, and some areas may be noisy.
