• Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and transcribe them into written documents
• Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and clarity
• Ensure that all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Familiarize yourself with medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses to ensure accurate transcription
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous dictations
• Maintain organized files of transcribed documents
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent listening skills to accurately transcribe dictations
