Remote - Accounts Payable Representative

Pride Health is hiring an Accounts Payable Representative for one of its clients.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of an extension with competitive pay and benefits.

This is a Fully Remote Opportunity but Resides in remote eligible states: IL, IN, WI, DC, and VA.

Location ? Fully Remote

Length of assignment ? 3 months (Possibility of an extension)

Pay range - $25 - $30 per hour (Based on relevant experience)

Shift ? Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Job Summary

The focus will be 1099 and reconciliation-related.

Job Duties
? Researches, analyzes, and resolves internal and external (vendor) customer inquiries.
? Performs vendor statement review and analysis. Serves as a main point of contact for vendor phone calls and emails.
? Processes payments according to payment terms. Performs payment analysis and resolves payment discrepancies by partnering with staff and/or vendors as needed.
? Establishes accounts for vendors on the self-serve website via e-portal. Provides instructions to appropriate vendor contacts and monitors account activity.
? Responsible for uploading electronic files to the Accounts Payable system.
? Utilizes and manages tickets in the customer ticketing system.
? Executes, reviews, and resolves discrepant invoices on reject/duplicate invoice reports.
? Works closely with Materials Management, Capital Equipment Services, and Sourcing to release resolved pending lines daily.
? Assists in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives and training of any new and existing staff.

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED.
? 3 years? account payable (AP) experience is required, preferred in healthcare.
? HIGHLY PREFER - candidate with previous accounting experience with knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software.
