What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Provide underwriting support by validating data entry and assisting in documentation verification
• Complete transaction processing after underwriting binds an account, including policy drafting and premium booking
• Communicate with producers to obtain necessary information for transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve policy questions and streamline processes
• Assist with special projects and system testing as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Knowledge of insurance processes and procedures, particularly in surplus lines
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as email and internet-based technology
• Excellent math and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate report data
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• College degree preferred
• Highly motivated with a positive outlook and a service-oriented mentality
