Key responsibilities include overseeing the development and maintenance of processes for product and technology architecture, system design, and requirements engineering. This role involves developing algorithms for RF SoC alignment and configuration, with a focus on FFT and DSP technology, including echo cancellation and RF frequency signal processing. Additionally, the position requires directing software resources to transform these algorithms into real-time firmware for manufacturing tests and operational applications. Identifying and managing resources to support product and architecture development is crucial, as is staying informed on component, circuit, product, and process-level technologies.

This role involves leading product realization initiatives, including proposals, system specifications, and design reviews, while fostering a culture of continuous learning. It includes overseeing the development of system components to ensure consistency and integrity in product architecture, and working with partners and suppliers to find the best technical and cost-effective solutions. Collaboration is key, as the role requires working with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and system test engineers to ensure successful product design and transition to production. Additionally, the role involves analyzing RF measurement data, resolving production design issues, and improving production yields and test times.

Required:

RF and/or Microwave design experience.

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

10% travel.

Preferred:

Master s or PhD in a relevant field.

Experience With Keysight ADS, Genesys, Or Other Simulation Tools.

Previous circuit design experience for frequencies above 2 GHz.

Experience designing HFC equipment.

Knowledge of DOCSIS 3.0, 3.1, or 4.0.

Experience with RF test and measurement methods: gain, S-parameter, noise figure, MER, BER, CCIN, adjacent channel rejection, etc.

Experience with RF test and measurement equipment: Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, etc.

MSEE degree.
