About the Role
? We are seeking passionate Data Analytics or Data Science professionals to join our vibrant team as Data Analytics Mentors.
? This part-time role offers more than just a job; it's an opportunity to impact the lives and careers of aspiring data professionals. As a mentor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our students through their educational journey.
? You will... provide expert guidance, support, and one-on-one mentorship to students enrolled in our Data Analytics program addressing both technical and emotional needs.
? Your role involves coaching students through their learning paths and the job search process with the ultimate goal of helping them secure their first role in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
? Mentorship: Engage in direct, personalized mentorship, providing one-on-one guidance, support, and professional insights to a dedicated group of students. Responsibilities include clarifying course concepts, offering constructive feedback on assignments, ensuring students remain on track with their goals, and providing encouragement and motivation throughout their learning journey.
? Instructional Delivery: Conduct high-quality, interactive live sessions focused on core data analytics subjects and essential career skills.
? Community Building: Foster a vibrant, supportive, and interactive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
? Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to improve the learning experience.

Qualifications

Must-haves:
? A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in roles such as Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
? Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Spreadsheet usage.
? Analytical Expertise: Proficient in Data Wrangling, Exploratory Data Analysis, Probability, Descriptive Statistics, and Inferential Statistics.
? Outstanding communication and people skills.
? A desire to teach, help students problem-solve, and help others reach their professional goals.

Nice-to-haves:
? 1+ year managerial experience
? Prior teaching experience as a Data Analytics Instructor (Bootcamp or University).
? Prior experience with hiring junior Data Analytics roles.
? Familiarity with advanced topics such as Machine Learning, Time Series Analysis, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Image Processing, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Big Data handling with PySpark.
? Experience with version control using GIT and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
