Will be expected to maintain data integrity with strong ownership of respective data sets and visualizations.

Expected Time Spent:

30% visualization design and develop

30% collaborating w/Engineering for modeling

15% business communications

15% Operational activities and support

10% Consulting/advisory activities with other teams doing similar work

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Analyst / Power BI developer with at least 5-7 years of hands-on development experience on Powe BI. As a contractor, you will be responsible for leveraging Power BIs capabilities to analyze and visualize complex data in a meaningful and actionable way for our organization.

Responsibilities: ? * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for data analysis and reporting. ? Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI. ? Ensure Power BI visualizations and dashboards have optimal performance and are scalable to a high number of concurrent users. ? 70% of time will be development of BI visualizations and the underlying data layer. ? Build and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. ? Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and trends, providing actionable recommendations to support decision-making processes. ? Identify and implement data integration and ETL processes to ensure data from multiple sources is consolidated in an efficient and effective manner. ? Work closely with business teams to understand their data requirements and provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for PowerBI related queries. ? Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in BI and data visualization, bringing innovative ideas to improve data analysis processes.

Requirements: ? * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. ? Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, specifically working with Power BI. ? Proficient in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques. ? Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. ? Experience in data integration and ETL processes. ? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. ? Effective communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
