Key Responsibilities: ? Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. Collaborate with the IEP team to set clear, achievable goals and track student progress. ? Provide direct instruction to students in a small-group or one-on-one setting, using a variety of teaching methods and accommodations to meet diverse learning needs. ? Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and supports their academic and social development. ? Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate support strategies into the broader educational environment and ensure consistency in student support. ? Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal measures. Adjust instructional strategies and IEPs as needed based on assessment results. ? Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child?s progress, discuss concerns, and work together to support student success. ? Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and enhance instructional strategies. ? Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, assessments, and IEP documentation. Prepare reports and participate in IEP meetings as required. ? Implement and manage behavioral interventions and support strategies to address students' social and emotional needs effectively.

Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred). ? Valid Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education.
