What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Tutor and supervise special education students in various settings, including resource rooms and regular classrooms
? Maintain anecdotal records of student progress and report findings to the special education teacher
? Assist in administering academic tests and maintaining reinforcement activities for students
? Participate in individual education program meetings as required
? Accept additional duties assigned by the district as needed

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Must be at least 18 years of age
? Strong organizational skills and ability to retain confidential information
? Personable, friendly demeanor with good attendance
? Supportive of district programs and punctuality

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Experience working with children in an educational setting
? Completion of two years of college coursework or ability to pass the paraprofessional test
