### Job Description

As a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while maintaining a high level of customer service. The role demands a significant amount of flexibility and enthusiasm as you will be dealing with diverse groups of people every day, and traveling to multiple destinations.

### Key Responsibilities

– Perform pre-flight cabin checks and ensure all safety equipment is ready and functional.

– Deliver pre-flight briefings and demonstrate safety procedures.

– Assist passengers in stowing carry-on luggage.

– Serve beverages, meals, or snacks and sell onboard products.

– Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues diplomatically.

– Provide first aid and assist in medical emergencies.

– Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations.

– Participate in recurrent training and emergency simulations.

### Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years.

– At least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

– Ability to reach overhead bins and fulfill the physical requirements of the job.

– Willingness to wear the company uniform as prescribed and maintain a polished appearance.

– Ability to work varying shifts and maintain punctuality.

– Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

– Legally authorized to work in the United States.

– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screening.

– Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.

### Educational Qualifications

– High School Diploma or GED required.

– Further certifications in Hospitality, Tourism, or relevant fields are advantageous.

### Experience

– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or airlines is preferred but not required.
