What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Listen to recorded interviews and focus groups to transcribe audio content accurately
• Use transcription software to convert spoken words into written text
• Ensure adherence to specified formats and maintain accuracy and consistency in transcriptions
• Collaborate with researchers and project leads to meet project deadlines
• Proofread and edit transcriptions for clarity and readability, while maintaining confidentiality

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Current undergraduate student at UW-Madison
• Strong attention to detail and excellent listening skills
• Proficient typing speed and familiarity with transcription software or willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment of 5-10 hours per week
