Senior Customer Service Representative - National Remote

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Answer a high volume of calls from patients regarding billing questions and payment options
• Process adjustments, refunds, and manage billing inquiries
• Research and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints
• Maintain a tracking log of escalated patient correspondence and provide updates to leadership
• Adhere to compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times

What is Required (Qualifications):
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of customer service experience or experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications
• Ability to train for the first six weeks, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Prior healthcare experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience with medical terminology
• Knowledge of billing/finance and eligibility processes
• Ability to simplify complex healthcare-related information for customers
