What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Monitor patient vitals such as blood pressure and blood sugar, assist with medication management, and doctor visits
? Communicate regularly with patients to facilitate lifestyle changes for improved long-term health
? Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) for patients
? Perform other duties as assigned by providers

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Passion for working with older patients and strong customer service skills
? Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or nurse
? Background in preventative patient care, preferably in primary care, cardiology, or diabetes clinic
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
? Proficiency in computer skills, including having your own computer and reliable internet service
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with administrative and clerical skills
? Understanding of medical terminology and critical thinking abilities
? Certification and licensure as a Medical Assistant, EMT, NREMT, Paramedic, or LPN
? High School diploma or equivalent education required, Technical Medical Assistant certification preferred

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Experience working with chronic condition patients in a healthcare-related setting
? Additional certifications or training in medical assistance
