Job Description

American Express is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Customer Chat Specialist to join our remote customer service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support through live chat. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth and satisfactory resolution to their problems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support to customers through live chat.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior customer service experience preferred.


• Proficiency in typing and familiarity with chat software.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Educational Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional qualifications in customer service or related fields are a plus but not mandatory.

Experience

While prior experience in a customer service role is preferred, we welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals who are new to the field and keen to learn. Training will be provided.
