Responsibilities: ? Legal Representation: ? Provide effective and strategic legal defense to clients in workers' compensation cases. ? Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong case strategies. ? Case Management: ? Manage a caseload of workers' compensation files from inception to resolution. ? Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of clients. ? Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. ? Client Communication: ? Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case developments. ? Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop appropriate legal strategies. ? Legal Compliance: ? Stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations. ? Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of case management. ? Negotiation and Settlement: ? Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers. ? Evaluate settlement offers and advise clients on the best course of action. Qualifications: ? Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. ? Admission to the state bar and in good standing. ? Proven experience as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney. ? Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents. ? Excellent communication and negotiation skills. ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. ? Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
