Position Overview
Services Finance is the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) branch of the FedEx enterprise that directly supports the global services-related organizations (including Information Technology - IT, Marketing, Sales & Solutions, Customer Services) as well as back-office functions (e.g. Accounting, Tax, Audit, etc.). We proactively provide actionable financial guidance and support that empowers our customers to achieve business objectives of the company. Our team members strive to deliver high quality financial analyses and tools; facilitate Corporate prioritization processes; and ensure adherence to financial policies and controls.

Job Description Summary
Duties for this role include but are not limited to: assist in the analysis of projects and proposals related to revenue, strategy, capital, operations, and expense utilizing computer modeling techniques.
IT Finance Positions
? Technology Business Management (TBM) Finance Support Analyst- TBM is an IT management framework, which enables organizations to gain financial and operational insights into IT spend using the cloud-based platform provided by Apptio. The FedEx TBM program will use the insights to identify cost efficiencies as well as empower company leadership to make better technology investment decisions. The FedEx TBM team consists of IT and Finance professionals from FedEx and the Apptio vendor, in addition to external consultants. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate on initiatives that drive value using TBM through data and process deep dives; data validation and analysis; spend to business outcome assessments.
? IT Business Partner/Project Support Analyst- IT Business Partner or Project Support role responsibilities include day-to-day business partnering, expense and capital forecasting, analysis of contract requests, capital investment processing and associated financials, business case development and evaluation support, financial modeling and ad hoc assignments. The successful candidate will provide expertise and actionable, financial guidance to Finance and the IT leadership through analysis.
Marketing Finance Position
? Marketing Business Partner/Project Support Analyst - Marketing Business Partner or Project Support role responsibilities include day-to-day business partnering with the Marketing team, expense and capital forecasting, analysis of marketing campaign budgets, capital investment processing, and associated financials, business case development and evaluation support for marketing initiatives, financial modeling for marketing projects, and handling ad hoc assignments. The successful candidate will provide expertise and actionable financial guidance to Marketing and the leadership team through insightful analysis.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus
? Financial Planning & Analysis experience
? Experience with budgeting and forecasting
? Financial modeling experience
? Ability to influence and lead business partner interaction
? Self-starter with proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple demands/projects in various stages of completion
? Able to develop an approach to financial analysis with an end result of well thought out, fact-based recommendations
? Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to communicate analysis results and recommendations with a crisp, clear message in presentations and emails
? Creative problem solver who generates new ideas to facilitate improvements
? Experience with Microsoft Office suite
? Willingness to learn more about the IT or Marketing organization
? *Understanding of activity-based costing concepts (e.g. fixed versus variable costs) ? TBM Position
? *Good with data analytics and data mining ? TBM Position
Work/Domicile Location:
Desired location for this position would be Memphis, TN / Pittsburgh, PA / or Dallas, TX however, remote work may be considered based on business needs.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is available.
Job Level: Salary and level will be commensurate with years of experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Sr. Financial Analyst: Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline. Four (4) years direct experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis. Knowledge of advanced personal computer applications. Strong analytical, human relations and communication skills.
Financial Advisor: Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline. Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis. Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills.
Additional InformationSalary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $6,047.00 - $12,443.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
