Key Responsibilities
? Act as the primary contact for individuals seeking federal assistance, addressing inquiries regarding prior registrations and directing them to suitable relief programs.
? Conduct calls with professionalism and empathy, actively listening to customer needs and providing accurate guidance.
? Accurately input data into a Windows-based database while adhering to scripted guidelines.
? Offer necessary contact information and referrals for additional support from secondary organizations.
? Adjust to additional responsibilities as required based on the level of assistance needed during specific events.
? Participate in scheduled team meetings to receive pertinent updates and information before your shift.
? Demonstrate outstanding communication and customer service abilities, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions, including proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English.
? Effectively utilize personal computers in a Microsoft Windows environment.
? Conduct all data entry tasks while engaging with disaster survivors via phone to ensure precise information collection.
? Ensure calls are conducted in a private setting, avoiding the use of mobile devices or public locations.
? Maintain a high-speed internet connection, meeting specified download and upload speed criteria.
Required Skills
? Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
? Proficiency in using personal computers within a Microsoft Windows framework.
? Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
? Strong listening skills to ascertain customer requirements.
