What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Conduct research and draft briefing papers on criminal justice issues and reforms
? Manage amicus briefs and sign-on statements addressing timely criminal justice issues
? Gather information from prosecutors and subject matter experts on best practices and justice system inequities
? Facilitate in-person and remote gatherings for prosecutive leaders to learn from each other and experts in the field
? Assist in interviews, surveys, and support for prosecutive leaders in the network
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Bachelor's degree and JD, Master's Degree, or equivalent post-graduate degree
? Four years or more of experience in criminal justice legal or policy work
? Understanding of justice reform work and systems
? Strong writing, research, and oral communication skills
? Ability to prioritize tasks and keep a large national project organized
? Ability to communicate effectively with elected prosecutive leaders and their staff
? Ability to work in a non-traditional environment and supervise junior staff
? Ability to work independently and manage projects
