Internship Details:

Duration: Summer 2024 | 12-week term (May 21 - August 9, 2024)

Location: Dallas, TX, Corporate Campus (Hybrid, with 50% work-from-home flexibility)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities:

Conduct data collection, validation, and root cause analysis to support Quality Control initiatives.

Collaborate on complex data analyses to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering insights that aid strategic decisions.

Use data visualization tools to present trends, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement projects.

Create and manage queries to gather and organize data, addressing urgent requests and identifying data needs.

Monitor processes and evaluate trends to identify discrepancies, ensuring our operations align with compliance standards.

Contribute to impactful projects that help Southwest maintain low costs, modernize operations, and enhance compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree in progress, preferably in a related field (Data Analysis, Business, or IT).

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase is preferred.

Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate business problems, identify data needs, and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.

Team-oriented, with a collaborative work style and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Prior internship, capstone project, or relevant coursework is a plus.
