Marketplace Account Strategist

We are looking for a Marketplace Account Strategist to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in creating and maintaining clients' accounts and catalogs across various eCommerce retailers, including Amazon and Walmart. Your responsibilities will include account setup, catalog creation, item optimization, and making informed recommendations regarding... pricing, shipping, and fulfillment to align with client goals while maximizing non-advertised sales.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Management

Manage both Seller and Vendor accounts, including enrolling in Brand Registry.

Create and edit product catalogs, including parent items via the platform or spreadsheets, and merge items as needed.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM).

Work with programs like Vine and Early Reviewer to enhance product visibility.

Submit support tickets and have a solid grasp of financial aspects, such as shipping costs, fees, and profit margins. Experience with EDI is a plus.

Walmart Management

Set up new items using item360 or spreadsheets and manage both supplier and seller accounts effectively.

Client Deliverables and Communication

Lead, maintain, and continuously optimize client accounts to ensure success.

Gain a deep understanding of clients' goals and business objectives to drive results.

Create engaging presentations to report on campaign performance.

Present strategies and optimizations to clients through in-person meetings, video calls, or phone conversations.

Provide clear internal and external reporting on project statuses, highlighting how goals are being met.

Identify additional growth opportunities in various marketing channels.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize non-advertised sales whenever possible.

Data Analysis and Optimization

Analyze account data to extract insights, identify trends, and offer proactive recommendations to exceed client objectives.

Review product sales to ensure alignment with client goals.

Make informed recommendations on the best marketplaces for clients to showcase their brands.

Exhibit a clear understanding of client messaging to ensure consistency.

Research Market Trends

Stay informed about the latest trends in Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce platforms such as Wayfair, Overstock, and Target, as well as in your clients' retail strategies.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of account support experience, either in-house or at an agency.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
