Key Responsibilities

As the Teaching Site Coordinator, you will be pivotal in orchestrating and executing a dynamic four-day-a-week program centered on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). This part-time position encompasses both coordination and teaching duties, enabling you to nurture a supportive and stimulating learning atmosphere for our students.
? Collaborate closely with program directors and school personnel to facilitate the enrollment and registration processes for students.
? Oversee the daily implementation of the in-person STEAM curriculum and enrichment activities with guidance from site directors.
? Act as the primary liaison for parents, volunteers, and school staff regarding student enrollment, schedules, and progress, while promoting family engagement initiatives.
? Ensure a safe and structured learning environment conducive to emotional well-being.
? Foster positive relationships with students, modeling healthy lifestyle choices and supporting them through behavioral challenges.
? Employ effective strategies to maintain consistent student attendance and fulfill enrollment targets.
? Maintain accurate records of attendance, program activities, and other pertinent data as required by the program director.
? Collaborate with program directors to design enrichment activities, schedules, and curriculum content.
? Lead a small team of teachers, teaching assistants, and volunteers, promoting teamwork and open communication.
? Facilitate weekly team meetings to discuss program needs, reflect on practices, and identify areas for improvement.
? Respond promptly to inquiries from students, families, and team members via phone and email throughout the program.
? Assist in organizing family and community events, presentations, and guest activities.
? Uphold professionalism at all times, adhering to program expectations and online safety protocols.

Qualifications
? Valid State of Maine Teaching Certification.
? Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
