The Customer Service Specialist will engage with customers through phone or email to identify their needs, take appropriate actions, or escalate issues when necessary. Responsibilities include providing quotes, processing sales orders, documenting complaints, and addressing service issues related to shipments, billing, warranty, and product inquiries.
This position reports to the Customer Service Manager and is part of the CMO (Customer Mission Operations) located in the United States and will be Remote. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
? Engage with customers across various channels, including phone, email, and live chat, to deliver exceptional customer service
? Handle all critical situations, including complaints and escalated cases, with professionalism and efficiency
? Manage each customer case from initiation to resolution, ensuring the customer is kept informed throughout their entire experience
The essential requirements of the job include:
? High school diploma or GED
? 3+ years experience in customer service and/or client-facing roles
? Highly skilled and experience in information technology, time and project management
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
? Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems
? Experience in conducting in-house training

The hourly range for this role is $24.50-$25.70. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
