Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to students with special needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with a team of educators and families to ensure the academic success and well-being of each student. This is a remote, full-time position for the Spring Semester (January to May 2025). Key Responsibilities: ? Provide remote, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. ? Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and other educators. ? Use a variety of digital tools and platforms to support student engagement and learning. ? Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed. ? Maintain regular communication with students, families, and the school administration. ? Participate in virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine educational plans. ? Promote positive behaviors and foster a supportive learning environment for all students. ? Stay up to date with best practices in special education and remote teaching strategies. Qualifications: ? Master?s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master?s preferred). ? Valid Special Education teaching certification (Idaho preferred). ? Experience working with students with disabilities, including learning, behavioral, and developmental challenges. ? Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills. ? Proficient in the use of virtual learning platforms and educational technology. ?
