The US base salary range for this position is 80-100K benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:

Seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, you will serve as a Conference/Event Planner to ARPA-H?enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation?s healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As a Conference/Event Planner, you will provide support to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.

What you will do:

Provide event planning to the office
Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, and other advisors involved in the program.
Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.

Qualifications:

Required Skills
EDUCATION: Bachelor?s Degree in any field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Conference or Event Planning
Experience providing this support in a Federal R&D environment.
Experience with large event planning, special event planning support and execution, to include but not limited to technical conferences, strategic off-site events, executive meetings, technology demonstrations and showcase events. Demonstrated experience managing day-today planning and execution for all assigned projects, including planning schedules, logistics, agenda preparation and event production.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.

Desired Skills
Three years or more experience within a Federal ARPA organization.
Two years or more experience in Federal Healthcare and/or Scientific Consulting.
Experience supporting complex healthcare and programs of a research and development nature.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
