Responsibilities:

1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 6:00 AM to Noon Friday

Starting Pay $18.00/hr

Our Globe Footwear Plant, a Division of MSA Safety, is looking for individuals who are interested in being part of a team that builds protective leather footwear for firefighters. Our Team consist of individuals performing stitching and non stitching operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality footwear.

We are now hiring for a Production Worker to support our manufacturing operations. This role is counted on to perform day to day tasks in our Lasting Department and will be counted on for the following responsibilities: ? Prep, Lasting, Inspection, Finishing (Non-Sewing Operations) ? Material Preparation. ? Working with programmable machinery. ? Performing manual jobs ? Performing various shoe lasting operations to produce footwear, including inserting leather uppers in to clamping devices attached to machine. ? Will be responsible for reading production tags and the quality if their work.

Qualifications:

Requirements: ? Must be able to speak, read and write English. ? Must be able to reach 12-18 inches. ? Non-Sewing Operations must be able to stand/walk for a full shift. ? Strong organization skills and high attention to detail. ? Good Manual dexterity skills. ? Positive and flexible attitude and ability to work and be a team player. ? High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred:
? Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desirable.
? Previous experience in shoe/boot manufacturing desirable.
? Stitching experience is preferred for the stitching role.
