Virtual Assistant Advisor

WANTED: An expert, admin-first Virtual Assistant who enjoys teaching and sharing tips/tricks and can consult as an advisor

SUMMARY: We are looking to partner with 2-3 virtual assistants who will help us build a mentorship program for under-employed women looking to break into the digital workspace. The right partners will be experienced, highly communicative, and good on camera. You must be GOOD at your job as a VA and GOOD at explaining what you do. This is a short-term project gig that pays $500. You will accomplish the following in about 2 weeks:
? 7 written responses to questions about being a VA
? 1 group brainstorm meeting
? 1 recorded interview where we will ask you about your expertise and gather tips/tricks/ideas about being a successful VA
? Release of ownership and contractual permission to use your written answers and recorded interview for marketing, program content, market research, and advertising
? NOTE: This only includes deliverables for this project. You will be... asked to read and then sign a release form prior to accepting the job.

If agreeable to both parties, there will be opportunity for the right candidate to expand beyond this short-term project and work with us on a long term basis in an advisor capacity.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a few diverse virtual assistants who are good at their job, communicative on camera and filled with tips/tricks and actionable advice. If you happen to share our passion for helping under-employed women? that?s a delightful added bonus. :)

To get this gig, you must have:
? Minimum 2 years working as a virtual assistant, specializing in administrative tasks like inbox management, calendar coordination, organization, filing, etc.
? The ability to relay information clearly, succinctly and with examples.
? A point of view - we want to showcase experts in this field who bring a range of experiences and personalities. In other words - let your (qualified) freak flag fly!
? Time in your calendar for 2 in-person meetings (with cameras on!) and a written assignment (with revision requests)
? A decent video camera, microphone, lighting and internet connection so that the recording comes out clear.

WHY: All around the world, women are earning less money with fewer work opportunities. Many women find themselves in need of flexible employment opportunities, higher earning potential or even just some supplemental income. We find these recent reports alarming:
? In the UK - ? of all working women are wage-underemployed
? In the US - women still earn only $0.82 to every $1.00 men earn
? Globally - women are more likely to be unemployed. Across the world, the unemployment gap ranges from minimal (e.g. In Sweden, the unemployment gap for women is 0.4% higher than men) to moderate (e.g. In Brazil, the unemployment gap for women is 5.8% higher than men), to severe (e.g. in Egypt, the unemployment gap for women is 18.4% higher than men)

We are working to bring entry-level digital job opportunities to women. This is not a ?side hustle? scheme or an entrepreneurial ?build your business? course. This is a mentorship program that provides training, feedback and a foot in the door for women with no experience or education in this space. We are currently building the Virtual Assistant track and want to partner with smart women who are already doing this work.
