What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Ensure accurate and complete follow-up on patient accounts
• Resolve claim processing issues in a timely manner
• Review and update patient accounts with current information
• Document all activities in patient account notes
• Work on assigned correspondence related to patient accounts

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong telephone communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and hospital patient accounting systems
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of medical collections experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital business office department

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience with ArtivaIn or HMS software
• Knowledge of UB 04 and 1500 claims form preparation
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines effectively
