Epic Games is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our finance team as a Remote Accounts Payable Specialist. As a vital part of our financial operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments, contributing to the overall success of our accounting functions.
? *Key Responsibilities**:

• **Invoice Processing**: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into our accounting system in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that all invoices are matched with the appropriate purchase orders and receipts.

• **Payment Processing**: Assist in the scheduling and execution of payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to company policies and payment terms.

• **Vendor Communication**: Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other account-related issues. Foster strong relationships to ensure smooth transactions.

• **Reconciliation**: Help reconcile vendor statements and address any variances. Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies swiftly.

• **Data Management**: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payment records, and vendor files.

• **Reporting**: Assist in generating reports for the finance team, providing insights into accounts payable activities and cash flow.

• **Compliance and Audits**: Support the compliance team during audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance in related queries.

• **Process Improvement**: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions for streamlining accounts payable processes.

• **Team Support**: Provide support to other finance team members when needed. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes.

• **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not required.

• **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and financial terminology.
