Job Description

As an Amazon Package Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for driving a company-provided vehicle, delivering packages, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a high level of physical activity, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Load packages into the delivery vehicle.

2. Follow delivery routes and schedules.

3. Deliver packages to customers’ doorsteps in a timely and safe manner.

4. Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatch team.

5. Use handheld devices for scanning packages and obtaining customer signatures.

6. Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

7. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

Requirements

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

2. Must be at least 21 years old.

3. Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.

4. Strong time management and organizational skills.

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

7. Must pass a background check and drug test.

Educational Qualifications

– High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience

– Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required. We provide comprehensive training to all new hires.
