VIRTUAL CHAT ASSISTANT
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Chat Assistant to join our team at American Express. This is a part-time remote position with flexible scheduling options. The role offers a competitive salary range of $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience, with working hours not exceeding 4 hours per day. As a Virtual Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat interactions. Job Description
As a Virtual Chat Assistant at American Express, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers over chat and provide them with the information they need regarding our products and services. This position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
You will be working closely with the customer support team to resolve queries related to accounts, billing, and transactions, all while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor? degree preferred.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not mandatory.
4. Proficiency in using computers and chat software.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
7. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
1. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via chat.
2. Assist customers with account-related questions and provide solutions to their problems.
3. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor during all interactions.
4. Document customer interactions accurately in our system for future reference.
5. Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments as needed.
6. Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
7. Participate in training sessions and continuous learning to enhance customer service skills.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
