Special Education Teacher - Fantastic Contract... Opportunity

Schedule Details:
? Location of Services: Local School Campus
? Lewistown, PA
? Academic School Year Calendar, following Standard School Hours.

Typical Job Duties:
? Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
? Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students in special education.
? Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, therapists, and other educators, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
? Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to maximize learning outcomes.
? Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution. ? Valid state teaching certification in Special Education. ? Additional endorsements or certifications in specific areas of special education (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, etc.) is a plus.
