Job Description

As a Data Entry Specialist at FedEx, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home, providing an ideal work-life balance. You will need to have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar.
? Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
? Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
? Basic understanding of databases.
? Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
? Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities
? Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
? Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
? Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
? Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
? Apply data program techniques and procedures.
? Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
