ABA Behavioral Technician - Home Based

The hourly pay rate starts at $22/hour and upwards based on experience in the field.

We have home-based case available in the Smithfield NC area, M-F 4pm-7pm schedule

Key provides services for children on the autism spectrum directly under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). This position is working in-home implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and counselling programs established by a BCBA.

Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities
? Provide one on one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
? Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
? Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
? Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
? Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors
? Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
? Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Requirements
? High School diploma or GED
? Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
? 1-year ABA Experience required
? Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
? Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
? Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
? Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
? Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
? Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
