About the position

The Associate Director of Program and Project Management at Verizon is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and pre-sales work related to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Network Services. This role involves leading a team that collaborates with customers to define requirements, design solutions, and manage the RFP response and ordering processes. Responsibilities
? Lead the sales and pre-sales engineering team for FAA Enterprise Network Services.

? Define customer requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.

? Manage RFP responses, quote generation, and customer acceptance processes.

? Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party providers.

? Drive excellence in solutions development and opportunity closure.

? Conduct briefings for senior executives and develop technology roadmaps during contract life.

? Identify and resolve gaps in deal lifecycle delivery processes.

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

? Eight or more years of relevant experience in program and project management.

? Experience managing teams.

? Five or more years in a sales or solutions architecture role within the telecommunications industry.

? Five or more years in a customer-facing role.
,
? Vendor management and negotiation experience.
,
? Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance.
