As a Branch Sales Associate at Grainger, you will be the primary point of contact for walk-in customers, utilizing your expertise and a positive attitude to deliver exceptional service. You will maximize sales opportunities, foster customer loyalty, and ensure a seamless experience from product selection to order fulfillment. This role involves both customer-facing duties and various warehouse tasks, including inventory management and merchandising. You will report directly to the Branch Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience Management:
? Provide solutions to walk-in customers by assisting with product selection and accurate order entry.
? Safely pick products and load customer vehicles, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
? Adapt communication style to effectively interact with customers via email, phone, or in-person.

Sales and Loyalty:
? Identify and maximize sales opportunities while building strong customer relationships.
? Encourage repeat business and customer loyalty through excellent service.

Warehouse and Inventory Tasks:
? Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
? Manage customer backorders and organize received stock.
? Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment to maintain product availability.
? Perform regular inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.

Operational Duties: ? Learn and operate various computer systems for customer service and warehouse management. ? Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain the branch's appearance according to Grainger standards. ? Follow safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment. Qualifications:

Experience:
? Prior experience in a sales or customer service role preferred.
? Experience operating powered industrial equipment is beneficial.

Skills:
? Bilingual in English and another language (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
? Strong ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and handle heavier loads with assistance.
? Flexibility to work during branch hours and adapt to varying tasks.

Education:
? High School diploma or equivalent.
