About Federal Reserve Financial Services Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine?Solutions, Fedwire? National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash? FedACH?(Automated Clearing House), Check Services, and the FedNow?Service. In 2020, we undertook a strategic effort to transform FRFS from a product and support office framework to a national, enterprise-focused organization. The enterprise structure integrated the prior retail, wholesale, cash, and customer relations product and support offices into a new organization, which was further joined by the FedNow team in early 2024. Our North Star strategy, with the new structure, is to offer a fully integrated product suite that provides speed, resilience, and choice in meeting the payments needs of financial institutions across the United States. The FRFS is a national business line with 1,500 employees across all 12 Federal Reserve Districts. While we are part of a national business line, FRFS employees are active members in our respective Districts ? participating in local Bank events, resource groups, and volunteer experiences. The selected candidate?s new job title and associated pay range will be determined by the SF Fed and will continue to be subject to the employing District?s people policies and practices (i.e., remote/hybrid work posture, etc.). Department Overview The FedCash Services? Business Solutions and Support (BS&S) division has an immediate opening for a business analyst in San Francisco, reporting to the assistant manager of FedCash Services Administration. You will work closely with a team of administrative assistants, executive assistants, and business analysts as part of a centrally managed pool. Then read on about the position summary. This role is responsible for all aspects of office coordination for employees in various FRFS divisions in the 12th District. This includes event planning and meeting support; procuring and maintaining office supply inventory; preparing, revising, and developing documents; supporting contracts and processing invoices; and supporting low-to-medium complexity projects. This position is a hybrid role, with in-office days to be expected 2-3 days per week. Essential Responsibilities Support event planning for internal and external meetings. Perform onboarding/offboarding activities, including preparation of workspace, updates to email groups, and creation of new employee information packets; serve as first line support for questions on Fed policies. Procure all software, hardware, and electronic equipment. Perform purchasing and payment activities for department, working within established guidelines to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve policies and timely payment of invoices. Perform required periodic physical and electronic access reviews. Partner with vital team members, sometimes incorporating external parties, to assess and address internal needs and to model the outcomes. Assist in project management activities including but not limited to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, organizing and/or project research. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree preferred. 2+ years of business operations, project management or administrative support experience. Solid understanding of the Federal Reserve System and the role of the Federal Reserve Bank preferred. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Basic project management and analytical skills. Strong communication skills to include diligent and timely response to internal or external requests for information. Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and direction and as part of a team. US Citizen Base Salary Range: Min: $78,200 Mid: $101,700 Max: $124,900 (Location: San Francisco) Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant?s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
