Contract Pediatric/Family Dietitian - Flexible Opportunity

Job Overview:
From the Start Nutrition, LLC, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team as a contract, per diem professional specializing in pediatric and family nutrition. This position is ideal for new or entry-level RDs looking to gain experience and build their career. We offer a flexible schedule, with the ideal candidate having afterschool and evening hours available (optional weekends, but not required), providing an excellent opportunity for work-life balance while helping our practice grow. Opportunities for professional mentorship and support for growing your own private practice available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nutrition counseling and education to children and families (you will receive training and mentorship needed)

• Assist in developing personalized meal plans and strategies for improving family nutrition

• Conduct one-on-one consultations via telehealth

• Help create and present educational... workshops on pediatric and family nutrition topics

• Collaborate to ensure comprehensive care for clients

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress

• Contribute to practice growth by attracting new clients through networking and community outreach

• Assist in developing marketing strategies to expand our client base

• Attend monthly to bi-monthly meetings

• Help generate ideas to grow the company

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration

• State licensure, if required where you live

• Interest and passion for pediatric and family nutrition, plus knowledge of Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, and general health and wellness

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and adults

• Willingness to learn and apply motivational interviewing techniques

• Comfortable with technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic records systems

• Enthusiasm for networking and building client relationships
