What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Leverage internal tools and systems to collect and analyze data while maintaining data integrity
? Analyze industry data to identify title opportunities for practical nonfiction publishing
? Support editorial decisions by translating data findings into actionable insights
? Manage day-to-day data tasks to meet downstream insight needs throughout the title development process
? Assist the Director of Data Analytics with various data analytics needs

What Is Required (Qualifications)
? Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a relevant field
? Strong mathematical and statistical background
? Hands-on experience with data analysis and machine learning projects
? Experience translating data findings into actionable business insights
? Proficiency in SQL and Python

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Familiarity with MS PowerBI or similar data reporting tools
? Experience in publishing or the media industry is a plus
? Familiarity with command line tools and Git version control
? Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing concepts
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
