Job Description:Distribution Center Worker

Ensuring the availability of prepared foods products, monitoring inventory control, and merchandising are responsibilities of this job. The role also entails participating in promotional programs and upholding the required display standards. Providing excellent service, maintaining a positive company image, and following Standard Operating Procedures are necessary. As with all Team Member jobs, it is essential to be prepared to perform other duties as required. Upholding WFM core values, supporting store initiatives, and complying with health and safety regulations are also mandatory.

Responsibilities: ? Sources and refills ingredients for meal preparation following correct procurement protocols. ? Responds to open PO and credit reports promptly and with scrupulous attention to detail. ? To effectively control spoilage and prevent shrink, the specialist must closely monitor inventory on a regular basis. ? Performs the necessary checks and documentation for spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets. ? Renders assistance in serving customers and preparing meals based on the given timetable or whenever required. ? Keeps communication lines open with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader to address procurement concerns and challenges. ? Maintains amicable cooperation with suppliers and service providers. ? Partners with the Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader(s) to calculate the cost of the recipe. ? Facilitates the process of fulfilling customer requests from foreign locations. ? Aids in the inventory process to support leadership. ? The key to maintaining strong financial performance lies in meeting and exceeding targets for both purchases and sales. ? Reports to work timely, immaculately attired, groomed, and primed for job responsibilities; executes all scheduled work periods, and participates in stipulated coaching sessions and conferences. ? The provision of exceptional customer service involves responding quickly and effectively to the needs of customers while also showcasing suggestive selling skills. The swift and polite answering of phones and pages is also essential. ? Increases revenue potential by implementing effective and appropriate protocols for preparing, maintaining, circulating, furnishing and showcasing merchandise. ? Complies with the standard operating procedures (SOPs), which may include Weights and Measures, health and hygiene, and safe work conduct, to maintain efficiency and protect the well-being of everyone at the workplace. ? Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the working and shopping environment, as well as maintains the equipment in accordance with WFM's standards for safety and cleanliness. ? Ensures accuracy of pricing and signage by carrying out assigned opening, mid, and closing duties. ? The prompt reporting of safety hazards and violations is necessary.

? An advanced command of basic mathematical principles.
? Aptitude and expertise in working with computer programs inclusive of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ordering systems.
? Demonstrating superior skills in communication and expressing a willingness to function effectively with others.
? The proficiency to communicate information in a concise and polite way to colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
? The capacity to uphold customer service expectations and standards is necessary in all engagements with customers, vendors, and Team Members.

? Weightlifting ability required up to 50 pounds.
? If you work for about 8 hours daily, then you may find yourself standing or walking for 6-8 hours.
? The utilization of one's hands can be broken down into several distinct actions, such as gripping, executing delicate movements, and propelling or dragging items.
? Work involves a variety of physical actions, such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
? Contact with cleansing agents authorized by the FDA.
? The impact of freezing temperatures cannot be understated. Exposing things to very low temperatures below the freezing point of 32 degrees Fahrenheit can render them unusable or destroy them completely.
? Competence to operate in both moist and parched surroundings.
? The competence to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may demand availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
? Skilled in operating a range of equipment and tools that comprise knives, box cutters, heavy-duty machinery, and electric pallet jacks.
? The usage of ladders might be required.
