About the role

As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you'll utilize your analytical abilities to collect, organize, and analyze data to provide insights that drive decision-making and optimize business performance. You'll be responsible for interpreting data, identifying trends, and generating reports to support various departments within the organization. Some of what you will do:
? Collecting and compiling data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
? Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
? Performing exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
? Utilizing statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively.
? Assisting in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.
? Collaborating with team members to understand data requirements and objectives.
? Generating reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
? Supporting ad-hoc analysis and data inquiries from different departments.
? Monitoring data quality and integrity to ensure consistency and reliability.
? Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.

What will help you be successful:
? Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
? Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python.
? Basic understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
? Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
? Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
? Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
? Prior internship or coursework experience in data analysis or related field is a plus.
? Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
? Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is desirable but not required.
? Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing principles is advantageous.
